  2. Hi Evy & Ruth;

    Thank you for posting the pics of Art. I remember him fondly for his passion for Jesus & sharing His Word at WT Mission Conferences.

    The video clips are very professionally done & fun to watch the kids & their parents. Someone did a great job. I enjoyed the embedded captions on them as they played.

    You are in my prayers to rest in His grip & stay under the easy end of His yoke, my Sisters!

    Blessings & shalom on your homes!

    In Christ,

  3. What a beautiful job you have done with this “blog” Ruthi. Was that you singing “Be Still My Soul”?
    Tho Gene & I only knew Art & Evy through our database software “Honor Roll,” we did visit them in FL a few times and were blessed by their unfailing graciousness and energy with no thought to their years or physical challenges.

    You each are indeed worthy of all our Honor and praise, as well as fulfilling the Lord’s will, finishing the race strong.

    We heard an apt application the other day, contemplating “what do we do while we’re waiting?” – the answer was an acronym – call on our GPS! G = Gratefulness for all God has done, is and will do. P = Persist in prayer and obedience to His Word and voice. S = Surrender our circumstances, suffering, and will to his sovereignty.

    You each are in our prayers for this “marathon” you have been running. As you wait on the Lord, may you indeed experience God’s strength when you feel weak. You are worthy role models and we will certainly be sharing “your story.”

    Thank you for sharing your lives with us,
    Gene & Laura McGlasson
