happy half year birthday Jaxson!

oh my, how fast time goes by! Today Jaxson is six months old!

I just spent a week on the other side of the state… spending everyday with my daughter, son-in-law and grandson. I have 200+ photographs to document our time together. So how do I choose which ones to post here, on this blog that documents our life?

I guess I just have to start…

What a fun little boy Jaxson is… happy, healthy, full of personality, and just too cute! His parents are doing such a wonderful job of providing a loving and secure enviroment for him.  It is so much fun to watch him learn new things everyday… like making noises, blowing bubbles, reaching for things, sitting up, rolling over, and on it goes. And his Momma thinks he is real close to cutting his first tooth!

It is always hard to say good-bye and return home, but I am thankful for every minute I get to spend with Jaxson… and his parents.

The weekend before I went to his house, Jaxson and his parents came to Bradenton and Amber took this video of Jaxson and his great-grandpa Yohner…

I think they both enjoyed each other!

Speaking of Dad… we are getting ready to celebrate his 80th birthday this Friday… his second birthday living at the Towers. Not much has changed… he has good days and bad days… we take them all as gifts.

  1. Good morning Ruthie,
Isn’t it great to be a grandparent. All the joys and memories to share and keep. It was great to get to see him grow up using this means of communication. We too get to see our new great grandchild grow up by facebook, but soon we’ll get to see her face to face over the Thanksgiving holiday. Keep up the great work and good pictures.

  2. Your pictures are precious; nothing like being a grandmother. What a
privilege God gives us for raising children and being allowed to see what we
have taught them put into action with their children. That’s when we see both
the good and bad we did with our own children and praise God it was not
worse and thank Him because they turned out so well.

Thank you for sharing these with me especially the picture of your dad and
    Jaxson; how special that is.
