Another 2 weeks have past since my last post… ugh!
But no worries… here’s what’s been happenin’…

Mark and I took a weekend to go play with Jaxson.
What fun we had!If you are a grandparent, you will understand when I say… It was fabulous!

Our first adventure was the local zoo and then a morning in the park…

Everything is an adventure of learning and discovery for Jaxson. What a wonderful age!

May is also the month of graduations and it was so special for Mark and I to see two young men, who we have known since they were just wee ones, graduate from high school. Congratulations Pavel and Jordan! “Uncle Mark” and I are very proud of you!

And something very special took place in May… I spent an afternoon with a friend I hadn’t seen for 20+ years. Melanie and I became close friends as newlyweds while living in Asheville. We spent alot of time together as young wives finding our way and had our babies together. Over the years we lost touch due to moves and life changes. A few months ago, thanks to FaceBook, I found her. And was beyond excited when I learned that she lived less than two hours from me! Our schedules finally worked out and we met half way for lunch. We picked up right where we left off, spending four hours at a Cracker Barrel laughing, crying and marveling at God’s mercy and grace in our lives. Now we are grandparents and both married to a Mark! 🙂 I love you Mel-Bel!

So that was May… we celebrated Jaxson turning one, found out Mike and Veronica are having a boy, spent a weekend playing with our grandson, celebrated the high school graduation of two very special young men, and reconnected with a treasured old friend… I’d say May was a good month!

And we are already half way into June!
