the greatness of God’s Power

Standard

Read this today… an email devotional from Anne Graham Lotz. I’ve added a few of my favorite photographs.  Be encouraged!

All things were made through Him,
and without Him nothing was made that was made.

John 1:3, NKJV

God created:
atoms and angels and ants,

DSC04555
crocodiles and chiggers and clouds,
DSC06851
elephants and eagles and electrons,
orchids and onions and octopuses,
IMG_4276
frogs and feathers and sea foam,
DSC04731
diamonds and dust and dinosaurs,
raindrops and sweat drops,
IMG_3646
dewdrops and blood drops,
and me! And you!

The greatness of His power to create and design and form and mold and make and build and arrange defies the limits of our imagination. And since He created everything, there is nothing beyond His power to fix or mend or heal or restore!

  1. That’s beautiful. I love alliteration. Your photos are great too.

I have a column from the newspaper that I’ve kept over the years that I’ll have to resurrect and send to you. It runs along a similar vein.

Have a good day, Ruthi. I still want to have coffee with you one of these days.

  2. Ruthi, todays post is great. It inspires me to love Him, the One who created all things, beyond measure and trust Him for all things that need to be accomplished. There is nothing too small or too hard for HIm to take care of. Your pictures are very special! Please give Art and Evy hugs for us. Dad De Jong is at Rhonda and Bruce’s helping them put in a new bathroom.

    Love you,

    Mom (Sylvia) De Jong

  3. Thank you Ruthi for the reminders, and beautiful pictures that prove God’s greatness. Love you and praying for you, Aunt Evy and Uncle Art.
