thought i would share with you a few of my favorite things today…

have you heard of PS22, the elementary school chorus from Staten Island? they are good and have become quite the internet celebrities! What fun to have a music class like this…

Last weekend we celebrated the life of our friend Lou, who went to be with the Lord on December 22 after a 12 year battle with cancer. A gifted young man and friend, wrote this song and sang it that evening. I so wish I had the audio to share with you (one day!), but take a minute and read these lyrics by the one and only Jordan Hamilton.

In anticipation of the porch swing Mark is building for me, I found this lovely print at Pier 1 to hang next to it on the porch. It makes me happy.

And finally, my most favorite part of this past week?

Finding an old friend on my bookshelf and now I can’t put it down…

I love Fridays because it’s the end of the week and I get to spend the morning with a wonderful group of women being challenged and encouraged. We are watching a Beth Moore DVD series on Revelation, Here and Now, There and Then. It’s great!
