1. finding this quote ~
You are never too old
to set another goal or
to dream a new dream.
C.S. Lewis
2. Jaxson ~ how could I not be filled with gratitude?
3. my porch… now that cooler weather is on it’s way.
4. early morning gardening and hearing the world wake up.
5. God’s creation through the lens of my camera
6. the encouragement of my girls to “go for it”
what fills you with gratitude?
Ruthi,
Life is great in the presence of God’s creation, i.e., grandchildren, great grandchildren, spouse, children and just families. Enjoy everything and everyone while you can as time for the Rapture is closing in on us all. It’s good to reflect upon what we have that God has so graciously given to us.
Keep up the good work!
Tom

I love that quote and as I wind up the scrapbooks I’ve done on my later
husband’s life and am now finishing on my daughter’s and my own, I am
looking forward to my next project goal. What will it be? I don’t know but
God will lead me into it. How exciting it is to think about having something
knew to do! Jaxson is so adorable; thanks for your beautiful pictures.

Thanks for sharing that quote from C.S. Lewis… just what I needed 🙂
What fills me with gratitude? I guess waking up in the morning to a clean slate… knowing the my LORD does not keep my record of wrongs !!!
I am also grateful for the praise music that Gary leaves on in our home when he leaves for work 🙂

I am filled with gratitude that David is able to be up and about today. His degenerative disc disease has worsened and late yesterday afternoon, he moved the wrong way and had severe pain in his lower back and right hip. He could barely move without pain. God provided help to get him to a lounge chair where we could make him comfortable. With our chiropractor’s advise, I was able to do what was needed to provide relief (strong pain med, antiinflamatory – 800 mg. & ice). Within three hours he was pain free and able to walk about again. Praise God. Good friends were praying for him also. It is interesting that he just went off the Plavex two days before. He couldn’t take antiinflamatory meds while on the Plavex. I am so grateful that our lives are in His hands! 🙂
